“A hunger after a thousand year nap” is a piece of surreal painting created by Poland-based concept artist and illustrator Marcin Jakubowski aka balloontree, for the NVArt ‘Surreal in the style of Jacek Yerka‘ contest run by CGSociety and NVIDIA, where entrants are required to recreate their most imaginative fantasies in the style of master surrealist painter, Jacek Yerka. Created digitally using Photoshop, the piece won the 2nd place in the competition.
