Expectations

The Senior Interactive Designer will be expected to:

• Work directly with our clients and our User Experience Director to understand business and project objectives.
• Help plan the design process by utilizing wireframes, prototypes and other information architecture tools.
• Create attractive, cutting edge and easy-to-use Web design concepts.
• Consult with our development team and our clients as design concepts are put into production.
• Manage, provide guidance and support to our Junior UX Designer.
• Create Web graphics as needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience creating Web design concepts. At least some experience creating design concepts for mobile environments.
• Must be extremely creative and innovative.
• A diverse skill set with ability to design across multiple disciplines and industries.
• Expert knowledge of standard Web design software: Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.
• Knowledge of current industry standards including those that apply to information architecture and development.
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. The interactive designer will be working closely with our team and our clients.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to take honest criticism and produce revisions that address feedback.
