Ever since I was a child I have been a fan of comic books. In October of 2009, I wrote a post titled: CG Artwork: Superheroes and Villains. In that post I assembled some amazing examples of superheros and villains created in CG. In this post you will see some beautifully designed comic book inspired vector artwork created by talented artists from around the globe. Hopefully one of these creations will inspire you to create your own amazing design. Enjoy!

My favorite is Breezy Day by Stanley Lau.

There’s a bunch of stuff here credited ONLY to the colorist. There are pencilers and inkers at work here. Specifically, the Spidey/Black Cat pic credited to Simon Gough. The original picture is by my buddy, Fooray. Simon only colored it.
very very good!
The comics are so cool, very inspiring.
you sure thats all vector art? some looks like raster
Lol at most of the female heroes being in the same cheesecake pose, with no action shots at all. Real fanboys at work.
THAT’S WONDERFULL!!!
Why is there so little of Batman?? T T He’s my favourite!!
Hi, most of those images in here are my colours only… I feel bad as the original artist has no mention. If you could please add the penciller and inker to the credits, it would be much obliged. You can find the images in my DA gallery with the link to all the artist on each seperate image.

Thats the gallery link for colour work only.
Thanks,

Great list of comic book inspired vector! Surely inspirational! Bookmarked.
wow, the quality is awesome.
Love all the artwork. Comic art brings the artist point of view to the table and that’s what makes it so unique.
